Beth Blackwood, Newton Conover High School Valedictorian in 2010, was asked, “Who has been the biggest influence in your life and why?”  Beth replied, “Rather than one specific person, I can really only answer with a what.  I grew up at Concordia Lutheran School and the teachers and staff there really molded me into what I am, and I feel so blessed to have had that opportunity.” 

Principal of Newton Conover High School on visiting Concordia for the first time made this comment to the NCHS counselor who was with him, “Concordia just has a different feel to it.  It just seems to be peaceful.”
